About ESSKIA
Since 1978 the English Schools’ Ski Association has been striving to enhance the status of skiing in schools.
Our aims:
- To encourage as many students as possible to enjoy skiing at home and abroad.
- To improve the excellence of young skiers.
- To ensure the maximum student participation in competitive inter-school races.
- To represent school skiing to all appropriate bodies concerned with education, sport and ski travel.

Membership
ESSKIA membership is open to all Schools and Sixth Form Colleges or equivalent in England.
The affiliation fee provides the opportunity for pupils to take part in races, training days in England and snow trainings and races abroad. Snowsport England insurance cover, newsletters and information about teachers’ courses are also included.
